Safe Crisis Management
704 KAR 7:160, Use of Physcial Restraint and Seclusion in Public Schools, seeks to protect the integrity of our school systems by ensuring the safety and welfare of every child, and every staff member.
School personnel are permitted when a student's behavior poses an imminent danger of physical harm to self or others in clearly unavoidable emergency circumstances to physically restraint students. Each building has a core team of staff trained for these events.
